Operating principle
The screw volumetric measuring devices are known for their characteristics of precision and reliability in addition to low load drops and to the possibility to be installed in every position as resistant to vibrations, pulsations and variations of liquid viscosity.
The measuring principle is very simple: inside the measurement chamber, obtained by the coupling of the two screws, the fluid passage determines the rotation of the screws; the rotation speed is commuted by a sensor in a frequency signal which, according to the known volume of the chamber, it is converted by an electronic device into flow rate value.
